Fasting phase, morning: Up at about 10am to get to the plant fair early-ish. Remembered it was April Fool’s Day so got my husband before he was properly awake by telling him the computer went on fire 🙂 Didn’t have anything to eat or drink except water.
Feeding phase: Broke the fast with an omelette and coffee at a nice cafe at the plant fair. Had a scone with butter and jam as well, which is something I pretty much had to avoid when I was spreading calories over the whole day. Had another coffee as well, so have pretty much reached a limit for a while on that. Not sure what the limit will be for caffeine yet.
Did a good workout and PR’d on overhead press, so that’s nice – 27.5kg for 3 sets of 5 reps. Could probably go heavier but feeling quite knackered so didn’t push it.
Post-workout snack of nutty granola, half an orange, half an apple and some agave maple syrup topped with Greek yoghurt. So yummy. Could probably nom down something else but saving myself for dinner.
Now to study…
Yay, I actually got my studying done that I was supposed to do. Victory is mine!
Had an amazing dinner of potato pizza… that’s a pizza base made from mashed potato… with mushrooms, tomato sauce, pesto, cheese… nom nom nom. Also had some leftovers from yesterday’s lamb.
Fasting phase, evening: Nommed down some black bean brownie & Greek yoghurt just before the fasting began, so that takes me nicely into it.
Overall, not a bad day. A bit rough around the middle when I was feeling rough but an hour’s workout really helped that and I was able to get down and study for a good few hours.
